I agree with Patrick Camilleri (April 4) and I shout it with him: Long Live the George Cross. I would like to know what would the opinion of those Maltese who disagree with the George Cross be if the Nazis had invaded Malta during those awful years?...

I agree with Patrick Camilleri (April 4) and I shout it with him: Long Live the George Cross.

I would like to know what would the opinion of those Maltese who disagree with the George Cross be if the Nazis had invaded Malta during those awful years? Instead of the George Cross would we have had the Swastika?

I am sure those who disagree with the GC have no idea what we went through to have the freedom they are enjoying now. Long live the George Cross on the red and white flag.
