Certificate in Risk Assessment

The Foundation for Human Resources Development (FHRD) together with the Institute of Health and Safety (IHS) is holding a course leading to a Certificate in Risk Assessment accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health as a Level 2 course.

The course, which includes OHSA 2000 and related legislation, main causes of injury and ill-health and their costs, accidents and health and safety at work, is aimed at anyone who is likely to be involved in any way in the risk assessment process.

On completion of the course, to be held tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. at the foundation's premises at 1, Triq il-Kampanella, San Gwann, candidates wishing to be awarded a Risk Assessment Certificate from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health must submit a risk assessment and self-evaluation carried out by them. Further details will be supplied by the tutor.

Course fee for FHRD members is Lm50 and Lm60 for non-members.

Cheques, payable to the Institute of Health & Safety, should be sent to the IHS, Martin Court, University Street, Msida.
