This is the second concert to be organised by the Consulate of the Slovak Republic in the space of six months, the first being a concert by jazz percussionist Josef "Dodo" Sosoka and pianist Ondrej Krajnak, at St James Cavalier.
Honorary Consul Godwin Bencini expressed his satisfaction about the rapidly growing cultural ties between Malta and Slovakia.
"Slovakia is blessed with a large number of extremely talented musicians and artists," Mr Bencini said.
These sentiments echo that of Slovakia's Ambassador to Malta Stanislav Vallo, who attended the opening of the Honorary Consulate for the Slovak Republic in Malta last October. He stressed the importance of having good cultural ties between the two countries as a means of enhancing cultural understanding.
