A 58-year-old Zejtun man was yesterday charged with defiling a boy and a girl in Marsascala on Monday afternoon.

Magistrate Tonio Micallef Trigona heard the man plead not guilty to defiling the 11-year-old boy and the 12-year-old girl at about 1.30 p.m.

The man was remanded in custody.

His name is not being published by court order.

Police Inspector Anthony Cassar prosecuted.
