Obituary
AGIUS. On March 30, JOSEPH, aged 72. With deepest sorrow we announce the passing away of our dearest Guzi, of Valletta, residing in Attard, ex-secretary general of Z.H.N. and former Central Bank employee. Comforted by the rites of Holy Church, after a long and brave fight with cancer. Deeply mourned by his beloved wife Juliet née Birmingham, his dear sons Richard Paul and Anthony, his brothers Fr Emmanuel Agius of the Holy Family Church, Addlestone, Surrey, UK, Vincent and his wife Mary Anne, their children and their respective families, his mother-in-law Elizabeth, his wife's large and always present family in Australia, other relatives and many dear friends.
Mass praesente cadavere will be said at St Mary's parish church, Attard, on Monday, April 2 at 2 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Hospice Movement will be greatly appreciated. Rest in the arms of the Lord, dearest Guzi, for you have suffered much.
MICALLEF. On March 29, at St Luke's Hospital, CARMELINA, widow of Joseph, aged 90, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughters Marilyn and her husband Edward Attard, Grace and her husband Ronald Said, Iliana and her husband Jean-Pierre Azzopardi, her daughter-in-law Margaret, widow of her son Tony Micallef Borg, her grandchildren and their spouses, her great-grandchildren, her only sister Joan Akehurst, residing in the UK, her sister-in-law Adelina Enriquez, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 8.45 a.m. for St Julians parish church, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.15 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi or Gesù fil-Proxxmu, Gozo, will be greatly appreciated.
The family regret they are unable to receive visitors.

Call For Volunteer Drivers
The Malta Hospice Movement is looking for volunteer drivers. Persons wishing to offer their support need to have a clean driving licence, their own vehicle and the commitment to drive patients to and from their residence to the hospice in Balzan or to the Park of Friendship in Marsascala on a weekly basis.
Applicants will be interviewed and trained prior to their assignment. Those willing to help are to contact Bernadette Briffa, manager for volunteer services, on 2144 0085/6 or by dropping an e-mail to bernadettehospice@onvol.net.
Court Sittings
The sittings of the Constitutional Court and of the Court of Appeal presided over by the Chief Justice and scheduled for Monday at 9 a.m. have been put off to April 13 at 9 a.m.
The sitting of the Court of Appeal set for Monday and presided over by Mr Justice Gino Camilleri will be held as scheduled.

Alcohol-Free Cocktails
Sedqa personnel will today be present at the Tigulio car park, in St Julians, between 9 p.m. and midnight, on the eve of International Youth Day marked by the Vatican.
Alcohol-free cocktails will be prepared by ITS students.

Holy Week activities
Good Friday procession at Ghaxaq
The traditional Good Friday procession will be held at Ghaxaq tomorrow, Palm Sunday, starting from the Ghaxaq parish church at 5.30 p.m. The procession includes eight statues depicting various stages from Christ's passion. This year's procession will involve about 460 parishioners, including children carrying biblical symbols associated with Christ's passion, statue bearers, men and women representing biblical characters and Roman soldiers, penitents carrying wooden crosses and others displaying Christ's Seven Last Words embroidered on velvet banners. The St Joseph Band, Ghaxaq will accompany the procession.
The good, the bad and the judgment
YouthLinks will present a dramatised adoration called Il-Gudizzju (The Judgement) at St Francis church, Birkirkara on Monday at 7.30 p.m. As the title suggests, it is about the judgement of two men, a thief and a sick man in the throes of his death. Both of them will be judged and a decision will be taken by God Almighty. The audiovisual experience is written by Darren Bonnici and directed by Jeffrey Muscat, both members of the group. Sacred art in Mosta
Gozo Bishop Mario Grech opened an exhibition of sacred art, mounted by Manwel Schembri, at the Nicolò Isouard Band Club, Mosta. The display consists of a set of miniature passion statues manufactured in Lecce, Italy, a set of statues in an architectural perspective designed by Joseph Camilleri, a Last Supper display and a collection of maquettes by Wistin Camilleri. The exhibition will be open daily until Good Friday.
Last Supper at Nadur
A Last Supper display will be held at the Nadur Museum Centre between tomorrow, Palm Sunday, and Good Friday. Thirteen life-size figures of Jesus and the apostles by artist James Azzopardi will take centre stage in this annual exhibition. The display will be open tomorrow from 9.30 till 11.30 a.m., Monday to Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m., Maundy Thursday from 8 to 11 p.m. and on Good Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 7.30 to 9.30 p.m.
Jewish customs
The Resource Centre at Mtarfa has put up a Last Supper display according to Jewish customs at the chapel dedicated to Sta Lucija. The display will be open on weekdays until Good Friday from 4.30 to 7.30 p.m. and tomorrow and on Good Friday from 10 a.m. till midnight.
Zabbar display
Statues and a Last Supper display are being exhibited at Dar il-Hena, 126, Triq Is-Santwarju, Zabbar until next Saturday. Opening hours are today and tomorrow between 9.30 a.m. and noon and between 5 and 9 p.m.; on weekdays from 6 to 9 p.m.; and on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday from 9.30 a.m. to noon and 4 to 10 p.m.
