In reply to Joseph Abdilla, I would like to point out a few websites that he may visit in order to confirm Martin Pisani's claims.

www.pigeonwatch.co.uk, www.pigeon-shooting.co.uk, www.pigeon-decoying.co.uk, www. angliasporting.co.uk. These are only few of the hundreds available.

I know many who have visited the UK on various occasions and legally practised such shooting on a much wider array of species than was mentioned by Mr Abdilla. They did it legally either by hiring the guns or by transporting their own with the necessary permits.

May I also inform Mr Abdilla that an article published on the BBC's website on September 27, 2006 stated that, "An economic assessment of shooting in the UK, leaked to the BBC, suggests it contributes more than £1.5 billion to the economy, and provides the equivalent of 70,000 jobs."

I suggest a decent apology from Mr Abdilla's side would be appropriate since his unsupported claims may have offended many.
