Heritage trail on south west coast

Heritage Malta will be holding another trail entitled Discovering Our Natural Treasures on April 15 between 2 and 5.30 p.m.

Heritage Malta's curator for natural history, John Borg, will be focusing on the various natural aspects of the south west coast of Malta.

Starting from Dingli Cliffs, participants will learn more about the different floral aspects of the garigue and cliff habitants. The historical and ecological importance of Filfla will be highlighted.

The ecological importance of Buskett Gardens and its historical value will also be discussed.

Included in the trail is a visit to the National Museum of Natural History where highlights from the museum's display area will be visited.

Tickets cost Lm5 and can be obtained from Heritage Malta's head office in Merchants Street, Valletta. Pre-booking is essential because places for the trail are limited.
