• All complaints, including anonymous ones, about alleged infringements will be investigated.

• A written complaint about an alleged infringement will be acknowledged within two working days of receipt.

• All complaints will be treated confidentially within the PA.

• A complainant will be informed, in writing, about the action that is being taken or why no action is needed within 15 working days of the receipt of a complaint.

• A press report about an alleged infringement will be investigated promptly and early feedback will be given, if possible within 24 hours.

• A register of all current enforcement action will be made available for public inspection at the Planning Shop.

• A 24-hour answering service on tel. 231159 shall be made available for the public to report alleged infringements which shall immediately be investigated and action taken if appropriate.

• Compliance certificate duly filled in by an architect shall be endorsed as valid within three working days from submission.

• A monthly up-date of enforcement action taken will be published.
