A 20-year-old woman was yesterday charged with stealing a cigarette vending machine on Monday night.

Magistrate Giovanni Grixti heard Jolene Camilleri, of Valletta, plead not guilty to stealing the vending machine to the detriment of Interbrands Limited.

She was granted bail against a Lm500 personal guarantee.

Police Inspector Alfred Mallia prosecuted.

Lawyer Franco Debono was defence counsel.
