Fined: Arsenal and Chelsea have both been fined 100,000 pounds ($196,100) and reprimanded after a mass confrontation in the closing minutes of last month's League Cup final in Cardiff, the FA said yesterday. Arsenal became the first team in the history of English soccer to have two players sent off in a major final when captain Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Adebayor were red carded. Chelsea's John Obi Mikel was also sent off following the stoppage time fracas that marred Chelsea's 2-1 victory.

FA Cup Final: The FA Cup final will return to Wembley on May 19 after the new stadium was granted its safety certificate yesterday. The certificate was handed out by Brent Council after two successful test events, the second of which was England's 3-3 draw with Italy on Saturday in an under-21 friendly international. That match was restricted to around 60,000 spectators but the award of the certificate means the stadium can be used to its full capacity of 90,000.

Missing luggage: The Iceland national squad had to go out and buy new training boots after their luggage was diverted to Las Palmas in the Canary Islands rather than to Palma in Mallorca. Nineteen bags went missing, although 14 were later recovered. Iceland face Spain in a Euro 2008 qualifier today.

Chelsea: Premier League champions Chelsea have stepped up their bid to woo the Asian market by launching a Korean language website. Chelsea, who are two years into a five-year sponsorship deal with South Korean electronics group Samsung, unveiled a Mandarin-language portal for China in January. Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon said the new Web site would be the first "in a number of exciting initiatives that we will be undertaking (in South Korea), many of which will be with Samsung."

Celtic: Scottish champions Celtic have been fined 1,000 Swiss francs ($819.7) by UEFA after plastic bottles were thrown on to the pitch during this month's Champions League match against Milan in the San Siro. The club said that it may appeal against the punishment.

Ronaldo: Cristiano Ronaldo is doubtful for Portugal's Euro 2008 Group A qualifier in Serbia today after injuring his left heel in training. The Manchester United winger had ice strapped round his ankle and heel after twisting his foot and limping off the pitch.

In England: League One - Rotherham vs Blackpool 1-0. League Two - Shrewsbury vs Rochdale 3-0; Wycombe vs Bristol City 0-1.
