I refer to the letter Graduation Ceremony (March 23).

I am surprised that an MCAST representative managed to find time to reply to my letter. I am stating this since I have received no reply to the several e-mails I have sent. The e-mails were sent several weeks ago to the Principal, Mr Edwards, and to the Executive Secretary to the Principal and CEO, Ms Sceberras. To the present day I have received no reply.

Referring to what Caroline Balzan, communications officer MCAST, commented I would like to inform her that my application for the examinations was passed through the MCAST Gozo centre in Xaghra. Moreover, my application was forwarded to Josef Buttigieg together with the appplications of my colleagues. So there is no excuse in saying that I could not be included in the graduation ceremony since I did not apply through my institute. In addition, I sat for the exam in the premises of MCAST itself!

A student-centred organisation does not treat its students in this way.
