Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic vowed yesterday to put his troubles behind him and steer Sweden to victory over Northern Ireland in their Euro 2008 qualifier in Belfast tomorrow.
Ibrahimovic has just been reinstated into the national squad after being disciplined by coach Lars Lagerback for breaking team rules and returning to their hotel at 1.15 a.m. on the eve of their game against Liechtenstein in September.
The Inter striker is adamant he did nothing wrong but has put his bad feeling with Lagerback aside to focus on making sure Sweden maintain their unbeaten start in Group F.
"I don't think I have done anything wrong and I am just happy to be back in the Sweden squad again," Ibrahimovic said.
"We have seen videos of Northern Ireland in action and they look a very good team. They have already beaten Spain and we know it is going to be a tough game," he told reporters.
Lagerback, whose side lead the group with a maximum 12 points from four games, is expected to hand a recall to Ibrahimovic.
