The Christian Democrat Students (SDM) won all 10 seats on the Students' University Council (KSU) last week, the students' organisation said yesterday.
SDM candidates polled an average of 1,311 votes each, while Pulse, the social democratic student candidates, obtained an average of 803 votes. Candidates for Reach, the third organisation contesting the elections, netted an average 718 votes each. David Herrera was elected president with 1,366 votes. The closest candidates for Pulse and Reach got 781 and 703 votes respectively. Bernard Galea, with 1,363 votes, was elected to the post of secretary general of the KSU.
