Holy Week activities at the cathedral in Mdina will start on Palm Sunday at 9.30 a.m., with the blessing of palm fronds and olive branches at the Benedictine church, followed by a procession to the cathedral. Concelebrated Mass will be said after the procession.

The commemorations continue on Maundy Thursday at 6.30 p.m., with the Lord's Supper. There will be a Holy Hour, from 10 p.m.

On Good Friday, a liturgical function, including the Adoration of the Cross and Holy Communion will start at 3.30 p.m.

Saturday's Easter Vigil will start at 8 p.m. On Easter Sunday, the functions at the cathedral will be the same as on other Sundays. Mass will be said at 9.30 a.m.
