Over 900 students are currently following courses at the European Institute of Education (EIE) of Ta' Xbiex.
This, the institute said in a statement last week, makes it the leading private entity in Malta offering courses at tertiary level education.
EIE was founded in 2000 with the aim of offering new educational opportunities to Maltese to continue their studies in various areas.
According to Antonello Cappitta, director of courses: "The management of the EIE is delighted to announce that now it caters for more than 900 students. This is an important achievement and we are looking forward to further expand our services."
Students following courses at the EIE have the opportunity to study and work at the same time, helping to develop skills acquired through experience. The courses also have a level of flexibility, which enables students to complete them on time without too much pressure and to continue to develop their careers. To add value to the distance learning courses, tuition is also offered as part of the course.
The subjects of courses offered vary: psychology, sociology, management, customer care service, hospitality, criminology, aromatherapy, sales, hospitality, airline and aviation, and IT. The level of these courses varies from Certificate to Doctorate.
The European Insitute of Education is licensed by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Employment as a tertiary level institution of the European University and the University of Leicester. For more information visit www.eieonline.com or call on 2133-2804 or e-mail: info@eieonline.com.
