Kilimanjaro team has new partner

Kilimanjaro Challenge 3 has teamed up with OC Magazine to raise funds towards the causes for this year's challenge - namely the completion of a school and convent in Ethiopia and assisting meningitis victim Amy Zahra to fund her prosthesis.

OC Magazine is a quarterly and the aim is to assist charitable causes. Each quarter a charitable organisation is selected and proceeds from the sale of the magazine are donated to that charity.

"The December edition raised Lm6,000, which will be split between the two charitable causes embraced by the Kilimanjaro Challenge 3 team," Omar Chalbi, for OC Magazine, said.

The Kilimanjaro Challenge 3 team members have to raise about Lm2,000 each apart from having to follow a daily training regime.
