Louis P. Azzopardi (March 21) is right to complain about the dangerous sleeping policemen just installed in Triq il-Qasam, Swieqi, but it is a pity he makes a sweeping statement about the one-way traffic system, describing it as "chaotic" without giving a shred of evidence to support his view.

We are only two out of many Swieqi residents who regard the one-way system as a welcome, if overdue, blessing.

Moreover, Mr Azzopardi writes from Xemxija and we have been living in Swieqi for the last 25 years. Can't we lay a better claim to assess what is beneficial to Swieqi than someone who does not live in our locality?
