Audi has launched the new generation A4 Avant in Malta, to accompany the best-selling models within the A4 range. The front-end styling of the Avant is new, with the addition of the characteristic Audi single-frame grille. The rear end, with its emphatically horizontal lines, and the sides, where the shoulder line moulds the panels distinctly into shape, are also new.

A4 customers can choose from 10 powerful engines, including four completely new units developing an output of up to 255 bhp. The V8 in the S4 delivers 344 bhp. All engines comply with EU4 standards.

The car has more room than average for luggage, with a capacity of 460 litres. Depending on the version, the Avant offers up to 1,184 litres of space when the rear seat is folded down.

Customers can choose from 15 exterior colours, including five new ones. In addition to the standard specification, the wheel range comprises eight summer and three winter wheels. Additional versions up to 18 inches in size are available from quattro GmbH.

Anyone ordering a new Audi A4 or A4 Avant during the Motor Fair will benefit from free metallic paint (normal colours) and a free upgrade to 17" alloy wheels.

If the car is ordered with the optional S-Line sports package, the exterior body package may be included at no extra cost.
