A woman was yesterday charged with threatening, assaulting and slightly injuring two prison wardens at the Corradino Correctional Facility's visitors section.

Vicky Ebejer, 30, of St Julians pleaded not guilty to assaulting and injuring Karen Gafà and Vincienne Mangion, disregarding orders and relapsing on December 20 last year.

Police Inspector Jesmond Borg prosecuted.

Lawyer Franco Debono was defence counsel.
