Reference is made to the letter Some Gift! by Paul Pace of Swieqi (March 8).

The letter refers to the offer launched in December last year for Maltacom's post-paid customers, both business and residential, whereby all calls made to other Maltacom numbers during the evening and night time throughout that month were free of charge.

Maltacom would like to state that it has rebated every single local call to other Maltacom numbers during the month of December between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. accordingly, as per the advertised offer.

In the full interest of our customer, Maltacom took immediate measures to identify the cause of Mr Pace's complaint. A customer care representative contacted Mr Pace and explained to him how the details on his bill actually reflected the fact that Maltacom, as promised, had rebated all his local calls to other Maltacom numbers during the evening and night bands of that month.
