Hello, as you know this section is about pets. I don't have a pet but I help a cat and her five kittens. My friends and I go and visit them every day and try to feed them every day. Unfortunately, I only managed to take a photo of one kitten. Its name is Roadrunner, as it runs away a lot.
If I win the prize I am going to exchange it for treats for this cat family and try to keep them healthy. I want to tell everyone to help animals and not be cruel to them, as they have feelings too.
The photo Sarah sent is too low in resolution for printing so we have found a picture of two kittens which resemble Roadrunner as nearly as possible.

I have a pet bird called Hugy. He is one year old and I invented his name. I was making a cup of coffee for my mother. The coffee was Hag and so we named him Hugy. He is grey and his head is yellow, He has two big spots on his cheeks.
Hugy is very intelligent. He has a cage and it has a stand, not very high from the bottom. When I tell him to jump, he jumps down to the floor of the cage. Another thing Hugy can do is open his wings and he turns himself upside down. Oh how we laugh when he does one of those things!
Hugy is a naughty bird. When we put up the Christmas decorations, he nibbled them. Even when we are listening the news he begins to sing.
I feed him every week. When I am alone, he is my companion. I love Hugy and he is the best pet I ever had.

Our dog's name is Mina. She is a golden retriever. She is now two years old. She makes me laugh because she likes to show off to get all the attention. Many times she will roll onto her back and her lips fall back and her teeth show and it looks like she is smiling.
She loves food and always sits next to my dad during dinner because he finds it hard not to give her a piece from his plate.
Mina loves going for walks and in winter we go out a lot in the car and take her to places where she can have a good run with my brother and me. When I feel sad or upset she always comes next to me and gives me a kiss and makes everything better. I love her so much.
