FA Trophy holders Hibernians were handed a kind draw when the quarter-final line-up was made by Malta FA yesterday.

Hibernians, who beat Floriana 1-0 in last year's final, were paired with Premier League wooden-spoonists Marsa who seem destined for a quick return to Division One football after a rather dismal season in the top flight.

The draw also provided two crunch matches as seeded four Hibernians, Birkirkara, Sliema and Marsaxlokk were joined in the hat by qualifiers Msida, Pietà, Valletta and Marsa.

Premier League leaders Marsaxlokk will play Valletta and Sliema Wanderers face Birkirkara. The other tie will be played between Msida and Pietà.

All four matches will be played at the National Stadium on the weekend of April 7 and 8.

Quarter-finals - Sliema vs Birkirkara; Hibs vs Marsa; Msida vs Pietà; Valletta vs Marsaxlokk.

Division II/III KO

The semi-final draw of the Division II/III KO was also made yesterday, resulting as follows: Balzan Youths vs Dingli; Rabat Ajax vs Birzebbuga SP.

The two matches will be played at the Centenary Stadium on April 7.

Meanwhile, the Malta FA an-nounced that the Division One match between Hamrun and Mqabba will be played on April 4, at the Hibs Ground at 5 p.m.
