Charged with theft
A 30-year-old man from Floriana was arraigned yesterday and charged with theft and with being in possession of a firearm among other things.
Romeo Bone appeared before Magistrate Tonio Micallef Trigona charged with stealing a number of items from an outlet in Church Street, St Julians, with holding two persons against their will, with being in possession of a firearm without a police permit and with stealing two vehicles and items that were in them.
He was refused bail and was remanded in custody.
