The next Mir (peace) prayer meeting for families, led by Fr Hayden William, OFM Cap., will be held next Sunday between 4 and 7 p.m. at the church in Bahrija.

The prayer meeting will consist of the rosary, Mass and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, during which prayers will be said for conversions.

An adoration, also led by Fr Hayden, will be held on April 5 (Maundy Thursday) between 10 p.m. and midngiht at the Capuchin church in Floriana.

The Blessed John XXIII International Movement of Prayer is holding its monthly evening of prayers for peace and new evangelisation of the world at the basement chapel of Sarria church, Floriana on Wednesday from 5.30 to 6.30 p.m.

Everybody is invited to attend, especially devotees of the Blessed John XXIII, who devoted all his life for peace in the world and for the Church of Christ. You can say your personal prayer and be united with other devotees praying at the same time around the world.

A prayer meeting is being held at Girgenti, Siggiewi, today at 4 p.m. Transport leaves Siggiewi Square at 3.45 p.m. (www.ourladyofconsecration.org).
