• The film Set Up is showing at Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30 p.m.

• A series of 13 Tuesdays in honour of St Anthony of Padua begins on Tuesday at St Anthony's church in Ghajnsielem. There will be recitation of the rosary at 6 p.m., followed by Mass celebrated by Fr Sandro Overend, OFM, with the participation of the St Anthony choir.

• Lina Attard, SDC, is giving a socio-education talk, the second in the series on the challenges that adolescents face today, at the Catholic Action headquarters in Sir Arturo Mercieca Street, Victoria, on Friday at 9 a.m.

• Bishop Mario Grech is holding a prayer meeting for men at Qala parish church on Friday at 7 p.m. to mark the feast of St Joseph. Mass will be said at 6 p.m.

• Catechism for young people, led by Bishop Grech, will be held at the Heart of Jesus Seminary, Victoria, on Saturday at 8.30 p.m.

• An ecumenical, socio-cultural event, the Gozo International Celebration - Easter Edition, with the theme "He is risen", is being held for the fifth time at Qala parish church on Sunday between 6.30 and 8 p.m. This event is being held to welcome all foreign nationals residing or visiting Gozo. The Island Brass band, the Aida acoustic group, Ghawdex Handbell Ringers, the St Joseph and Magnificat choirs, soprano Ruth Portelli and baritone Joseph Buttigieg will provide entertainment. A reception at the parish centre hall will follow.

• A bazaar in aid of Xaghra parish church is being held at the shop by the church between Sunday and April 1 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Figolli, honey rings, traditional Easter qassatat and other Gozitan Easter delights will be on sale.

• Members of all professions in Gozo are invited to a series of four Lenten sermons led by Canon Daniel Xerri, organised by the Diocesan Commission, at St Augustine church from March 26 to 29 at 8.30 p.m.
