On a positive note

I am writing to inform you and the general public of a case of good customer relations concerning the purchase of air conditioning units from Aplan Ltd.

I purchased eight units from Aplan on July 27, 2006. As it was summer I expected to wait a long time for the installation of the units, however they were in fact installed in August by a sub-contractor. I was unhappy with the work carried out and I called Aplan to voice my concerns.

Angie Vella from the service department immediately sent out two technicians to check the installation and they in fact condemned the works carried out. To cut a long story short, Lino Apap, the general manager, also paid a visit to my property and upon inspection ordered that all the units be refitted by Aplan's own technicians, at no additional cost to myself.

The work was completed to a very high standard and I have nothing but praise for the way this company handled the problem. For these reasons I would like to thank Mr Apap, Ms Vella, Benny Brimmer, Marie Bonnici as well as the company technicians.

Knowing that Aplan has been featured favourably in the past and customers have received good service was part of the reason I decided to purchase the air conditioning units from them. This is not the first purchase I have made from Aplan and it will not be the last as we have always received excellent service from them. Good work and excellent customer relations should and must be recognised and will always be rewarded by customer loyalty. (Edward J. Poole)

Indeed I am not surprised. I know Lino Apap personally with a particular focus on his customer orientation. I must also compliment Ms Vella, Ms Bonnici, Mr Brimmer, and the company technicians accordingly. Well done!
