Greece will be able to pick from a list of seven strikers for their Euro 2008 Group C qualifying matches against Turkey today week and Malta on March 28 as they seek to make it five wins out of five matches.
Coach Otto Rehhagel has brought into the squad, announced yesterday, Panathinaikos pair Dimitris Papadopoulos and Dimitris Salpingidis who have scored 23 times in the league this season, dropping fellow Panathinaikos striker Vassilis Mantzios.
Defenders Traianos Dellas and Michalis Kapsis also return to the squad, offering stability and experience at the back which will be much needed in the match against joint group leaders Turkey on March 24. Both teams have yet to concede a goal in the competition.
Champions Greece are looking to beat Turkey and open a three-point gap on arch-rivals and third-place Norway before travelling to Malta.
