The independent Gozitan Schola Cantorum Jubilate will be performing a Lenten concert at the Zejtun parish church, on March 29, at 7.15 p.m.

The repertoire will include sacred motets like Adoramus Te, O Domine Jesu Christe, Ubi Caritas, Popule Meus and other pieces by composers such as Palestrina, Bach, Hassler and Durufle. The programme also includes two compositions by Carlo Diacono, namely Jerusalem and Plange. Choir director and soprano Marouska Attard will interpret Pie Jesu by Gabriel Faure and Ave Maria by Giulio Caccini.

The programme will include two instrumental pieces by Charlene Caruana, a violinist of the Jubilate Chamber Orchestra.
