The condition of the 57-year-old Marsa worker who was critically injured in an accident, at the Freeport, on Wednesday has improved, the police said yesterday.

The man was hurt when he was hit by a trailer truck, used for transporting containers. The worker was rushed to St Luke's Hospital were he was found to be in a critical condition, the police said.

Magistrate Joseph Apap Bologna is holding an inquiry.
