I thank Alan Camilleri, NECC director, for being so promptly elucidative in responding to my piece about the NECC's FAIR initiative.
He gives a clarification that is suitably detailed about what is behind and would be still leading up to inclusion in NECC's published full-page lists. But surely he should then also agree that a simple two-liner, along the following pattern, would have made FAIR's claimed success more clear to mortals: "There are also at the moment ... XXX... applications, and/or enquiries, being processed" or something similar. After all, communicating is also about constantly giving fuller information than just lists of names in block-page adverts.
