Vodafone has donated over Lm2,000 to YMCA Homeless.

The money was saved by the company last Christmas when it did not send cards and pledged to donate the money to charity instead.

The company also donated Lm1 for every mobile phone sold from its retail outlets during the Christmas period.

Vodafone chief commercial officer Mikhail Gerchuk visited the YMCA premises in Valletta and presented Jean Paul Mifsud with the money.

YMCA Homeless assists in the rehabilitation of the homeless and works on instilling a sense of hope.

Persons wishing to make a donation to YMCA Homeless can send an SMS to 5061 8088 for a donation of Lm2 and 5061 9212 for Lm5.
