HSBC has opened a new branch in Marsascala bringing the total number of branches and agencies to 41.

The Marsascala branch, which will provide customers with a range of personal financial services and 24/7 automated services, is located in St Anthony Street, the main road leading into the town.

Bank CEO Shaun Wallis together with Marsascala mayor Mario Calleja inaugurated the premises which were blessed by Marsascala parish priest Fr Martin Micallef.

Mr Wallis presented donations to the local council and to the parish, which will be invested in the Marsascala public library and the school.
