Mark Cueto was given a surprise recall to the England team yesterday when he was named in place of Josh Lewsey at full-back for Saturday's game against Wales in Cardiff.
Cueto has not played for England since November but has recovered from a series of injuries to make his first international start at full-back after scoring 13 tries from 18 appearances on the wing.
The only other change from the team who beat France 26-18 on Sunday comes at outside centre where Mathew Tait replaces the injured Mike Tindall.
Saturday will bring back stirring memories for Tait, who made his debut as an 18-year-old against Wales at Cardiff two years ago. In that game he was on the end of a couple of thunderous hits from Gavin Henson, was replaced during what became an 11-9 defeat and not considered again for 18 months.
Jamie Noon moves up to the bench, leaving no place in the match 22 for Lewsey.
Mike Catt will again captain the team in the absence of injured prop Phil Vickery. Flyhalf Jonny Wilkinson was also unavailable because of a hamstring strain.
