Once upon a time
This week's story - A Trip To The Forest (inspired by Hansel and Gretel)
Once upon a time, Nicole and I decided to go for a walk in the forest. It was a beautiful day, without a single cloud in the sky.
Our house was close to the forest. When we woke up, early in the morning, we dressed in our tracksuits. We took mummy's basket to pick some berries from the bushes.
When we arrived in the forest, we held hands and started picking the berries. After half an hour, when our basket was full of berries and we were far into the forest, we started getting hungry.
20070314-junior--onceupon2.jpgWe saw a house, made out of chocolates and sweets. We also saw a woman looking at us through the window. She told us that if we were hungry we could go into her house and eat. We did not know what to do so we went inside with the basket.
We saw an oven, It was a big oven and very dirty. The woman took the basket into another room and tied up our hands. When she opened the door of the oven we kicked her into the oven. Then we managed to untie our hands.
We heard children calling from one of the rooms. We unlocked the door and let the children out. They were very happy and thanked us and we all went out of the house.
We ran home, as it was getting late. When we arrived home our parents got very angry and asked us where we went, we told them that we went to the forest and rescued some children from a bad woman, who was going to cook them.
Our parents were very happy and we went straight to bed. We wish we could go again to the forest, with out parents.
