The streaking San Antonio Spurs won their 12th straight game, getting 19 points from Tony Parker in a 93-77 win over the slumping New Jersey Nets in San Antonio last weekend.
The Spurs' balanced attack had 12 different players scoring as they cruised to the win after holding the Nets to just 33 first-half points to take a 42-33 edge at the half.
San Antonio (45-18) stretched that advantage to 14 points after three quarters and held the Nets to just 42 per cent shooting, although the Nets did manage to close the gap to seven points early in the fourth quarter before the Spurs again took control.
Tim Duncan had 17 points and 13 rebounds for the Spurs, but he played just 33 minutes. Manu Ginobili added 12 points and Brent Barry potted 11 for the Spurs.
