As part of a series of lectures on research in progress, the Department of History of Art, of the University of Malta's Faculty of Arts, is presenting a lecture on "Carlo Pisi (1897-1979): an Italian sculptor in modern Malta".

The lecture will be delivered by Mark Sagona, MA, on Friday at 3 p.m. at the Gateway Building, Hall E. Mr Sagona is a visiting lecturer with the Department of History of Art.

The lecture will highlight the various works produced by this Italian artist for the Maltese Islands, and will discuss his local output within the context of changing artistic sensibilities after World War II. The public is invited to attend.
