Heritage Malta has inaugurated an exhibition of Good Friday statuary costumes in Malta and Spain at the Inquisitor's Palace, Vittoriosa.

It will be on until April 15 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

The exhibition, entitled Ecce Mater Tua, Ecce Filius Tuus, has been organised in collaboration with the Spanish Maltese Cultural Centre. The display compares and contrasts the use of costumes in Good Friday rituals in Malta and Spain, particularly used to dress statues forming part of processions. On show are photographs, artefacts and audiovisual material related to this theme as well as artefacts from private collections, including paintings.
