HSBC Cares for Children Fund (HCCF) is contributing Lm3,000 towards an Inclusive Education Project at Maria Assunta Girls Secondary School, in Hamrun.

The sponsorship will allow the project to be extended for a further three years.

Inclusive education at Maria Assunta caters for the individual educational requirements of a number of students with special needs. The project fosters an inclusive ethos within the school through meetings with teachers and other students.

Training is also provided to facilitators in the implementation and evaluation of inclusive education projects.
