A mayor and a leader

For the past 25 years, Mayor Norbert Pace has always been active in various local political organisations as well as in culture and sport.

This has enhanced the confidence and support of Attard's residents who have wholeheartedly elected mayor Mr Pace in their majority. The last three elections are witness to this fact.

Mayor Pace's prime objective has always been to seek unity within Attard council, irrespective of others' political creeds, in a way to safeguard only the needs and necessities of Attard.

For a good nine-year period, Mayor Pace has achieved many projects through his sheer determination to improve Attard's environment, to the satisfaction of all residents. His work has resulted in Attard being one of the most vibrant and successful villages with its unique features.

Mayor Pace is looking forward to the next local elections with the same enthusiasm he had nine years ago. In his usual cheerful manner he commented: "I am honoured that the Nationalist Party has once more supported my nomination to be elected to lead Attard council... I shall continue to dedicate myself towards the well being of Attard residents, by creating more projects for Attard.

I have always appreciated the support that Attard residents have shown me and which has since trebled since my first term."
