The Vodafone Malta Foundation and the HSBC Cares For Children Fund have funded an OptiMusic Room for Dar Tal-Providenza, in Siggiewi.

Gemma Mifsud Bonnici, chairman of the Vodafone Malta Foundation, and Catherine Gonzi, chairman of the HSBC Cares for Children Fund, officially opened the OptiMusic room together with Mgr Lawrence Gatt, director of Dar Tal-Providenza.

OptiMusic stimulates the senses and opens up a world of musical expression for persons with profound impairments. The interactive environment gives users control of the effect they hear and see. It also has wide applications in the sphere of communication and speech therapy.
