England and Chelsea captain John Terry has undergone a second brain scan after being knocked unconscious during last Sunday's League Cup final.
A Chelsea spokesman said Terry, who was carried off during Chelsea's 2-1 triumph over Arsenal, underwent the scan on Wednesday. He was scanned previously in Cardiff last Sunday.
The spokesman told Reuters: "John had a routine scan yesterday and everything was okay. It is an entirely normal and routine procedure with this kind of head injury and there is no cause for concern."
Terry was injured when he was kicked in the face accidentally by French defender Abou Diaby as he ducked to head the ball.
Terry is not expected to play in Chelsea's Premier League visit to Portsmouth tomorrow.
