In today's competitive business environment, standing still means falling behind. The life cycle of products and services is constantly shrinking, meaning that what guaranteed a healthy turnover yesterday no longer does tomorrow.

In this scenario, a positive attitude towards creativity and innovation is a vital business requirement. Unfortunately, many consider themselves at a disadvantage because they perceive themselves as not being creative and hence any innovation is limited to the adoption or marketing of products or services created by others. However, the type of innovation that enjoys a longer life span and provides a more sound competitive differential advantage, is innovation which results from creativity.

The organisation Getting There will run a set of four lectures at the Learning Development Centre, 28, Birbal Street, Balzan, where participants will explore the nature of creativity and techniques that can free and stimulate one's own suppressed creativity, thus improving one's prospects in this highly competitive environment. Creativity and innovation transcend business functions and apply to marketing, sales, advertising, management, product and service design, and many other important aspects of any operation.
