Silent film at the Manoel

Buster Keaton's Our Hospitality will be screened tomorrow, at 8 p.m., in the courtyard of the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta, as part of the Silents Are Golden series run by the theatre and St James Cavalier Centre for Creativity.

The movie tells the story of Willie McKay, who falls in love with Virginia Canfield, daughter of a rival family. McKay ends up as the guest of the Canfields, whose conservatism forbids them to harm their arch-enemy as long as he is in their house.

The film will be animated with live music by Alex Vella Gregory on piano.
