A junior chef team from Malta is competing for the Knorr World Junior Culinary Grand Prix award that will be on until tomorrow at ScotHot, a Scottish exhibition of food service and hospitality.

The Maltese team is represented through the Malta Cookery and Food Association (MCFA). The Association has over 100 members, who are executive chefs, chef patrons as well as aspiring young professionals in catering.

The team from Malta includes team captain and mentor Kevin Bonello from the Xara Palace Hotel, Emanuel Sciberras from the Radisson SAS Baypoint Hotel, Chris Bonello from the RUI Seabank Hotel, Otis Caruana from Hilton Malta and Clint Grech from the Xara Palace Hotel. The president of the MCFA, Guido Debono is accompanying the team in Scotland.
