Archbishop Paul Cremona yesterday paid his first pastoral visit to the Gozitan diocese where he spent the morning with members of the Gozitan clergy, praying and reflecting on the "The Parable of the Prodigal Son" - the theme chosen for Lent.

He also urged the clergy to love in the same way, even if meant sacrifice.

Mgr Cremona was later the guest for lunch of Gozo Bishop Mario Grech.

In the evening, Archbishop Cremona had a meeting with the Gozo clergy and was greeted by devotees on Cathedral Square in Victoria before he led a solemn Pontifical Mass at the Cathedral.
