The Malta Canine Society will be holding a Winter Championship Dog Show at the Cottonera Sports Complex today and tomorrow.

Over 200 dogs from 44 different breeds will be participating in the show, which starts today at 3.30 p.m. with the Terrier and Working breeds and with the Junior Handler Class, a competition for persons aged between 10 and 17. The junior with the highest number of points at the end of the year will represent Malta at the International Junior Handler Competition which takes place in March in Birmingham, England.

Tomorrow, the show starts at 9 a.m. with the Toy and Gundog breeds, continuing at 3 p.m. with the Hound and Utility breeds and then the finals, in which all group winners compete for the coveted Best In Show title.
