The Ghana Mission Foundation last year donated $100,200 for the building of a health centre in Kumasi, Ghana.
The building of the centre is a project of the International Catholic Programme for Evangelisation (ICPE). Made up of lay missionaries, the ICPE was set up in Malta in 1985.
ICPE is represented in all the continents, organising schools of evangelisation and carrying out mercy missions in Third World countries.
A total of Lm65,000 were collected last year, mainly through a fund-raising activity organised by the Ghana Mission Foundation in February and March.
The foundation encourages all those who would like to give their financial support to the project to do so by sending a cheque or money order to Ghana Mission Foundation, c/o Media Centre, National Road, Blata l-Bajda, HMR 02.
