Gay adoptions

Malta beware, as usually when Britain or the EU sneezes Malta eventually catches a cold.

The morally-bankrupt British government is more arrogant than the last days of the Bourbons in France. It has ruled, even with the "closet Catholic" Prime Minister capitulating to the secular fascists, that it knows better than God.

They have told the Roman Catholic adoption agencies in Britain that they can no longer refuse on religious grounds the adoption of children in their care by gays on the grounds of "discrimination".

This is like living in a totalitarian state where freedom of conscience is forbidden - and let it be a warning to all Maltese about what is likely to happen there. There are hundreds of British non-Roman Catholic adoption agencies which can follow the ruling if they wish, but why stop the Catholic agencies from being allowed to follow their conscience? This is just the latest attack on the Christian Church in Britain, one of many, where the secularists will not be happy until religion is banned altogether (unless, of course, you are Muslim).

Furthermore, the British government's logic on discrimination does not stack up, otherwise why don't they force the Catholic Church to accept woman priests too - on the grounds of discrimination against women?

And the British government wonders why thousands of hard working, decent Christian people are leaving Britain's shores? It's not just for the sun, sand and sea I can assure you.

Britain is no longer the country that my forebears fought and died for to keep its freedoms.
