Japan's Koki Kameda yesterday predicted a swift knockout win over Mexican Everardo Morales next month in his first fight since moving up to flyweight. Kameda, who relinquished his WBA light flyweight crown to challenge for a second world title at flyweight, meets Morales in Tokyo on March 24.

With typical cockiness the 20-year-old promised to knock out Morales in the third round - one round faster than WBC flyweight champion Pongsaklek Wonjongkam did in June last year.

"Pongsaklek stopped him in the fourth round so I'll finish him in the third," said Kameda, who is hoping for a future shot at the Thai world champion. "If it's earlier, I apologise."
