Bail over drug case

Habier Grech, 27, of Hamrun, was yesterday granted bail against a deposit of Lm500 and a personal guarantee of Lm2,000 after being accused of the possession of a number of ecstasy tablets in quantities denoting they were not for his personal use.

He was further charged with being in possession of cannabis resin. Both alleged offences took place on Saturday.

Inspector Norbert Ciappara prosecuted.
